50+ Kid Friendly Fall Activities | Kat Viana

It may already be October, but there’s still plenty of kid-friendly fall activities you can do with your little ones before the season ends.

There’s so much to do in the fall and since becoming a mom, I want to share my love for fall and all the fun activities there are to do with my son. Last fall, Sebastian was only 3 months old so I spent most of the fall indoors avoiding large crowds (yes I was a first time overprotective mom). Now that Sebastian is 15 months old and is extremely active, I wanted to take advantage of the cool weather and show him my favorite time of year.

Things are a little different this year, and many moms are choosing to avoid being in crowds with their children due to the virus. I wanted to share not only outdoor public kid-friendly fall activities, but also fun activities you can do with your little ones indoors.

Here are 50+ kid-friendly fall activities you can do this year.

One month into this season and the only activities we’ve done have been going on walks/hikes, visiting the sunflower field (which was a complete fail so we ended up checking out the pumpkin patch) and tried new pumpkin spice flavored food. We have a few plans for having a picnic and visiting a winery in the coming week but we still want to do other fall activities with Sebastian.

Some of the things we did last fall while Sebastian was 3 months was visit a petting zoo/farm, picked out pumpkins, went on a hayride, painted pumpkins, visited a local faire and even went to a winery. Although Sebastian won’t remember doing all theses activities, it was still fun to do when you’re new parents and looking to do some fall activities. Here are some pictures from last fall:

These are some things I’ve done pre-baby and some things I think Sebastian will really enjoy doing. Of course there are other activities you can do that may not be kid-friendly like visit a brewery or a winery (I looooooove wineries). What are some of the things you are doing with your little ones this fall season??
